Within the congested industrial site, the project integrates nature into each layer of the built environment, creating more humane spaces that support workers' well-being. By connecting natural elements with the industrial structure, the design softens the harshness of the machinery and enhances the workers' work environment experience.
Customized operable window panels allow natural airflow according to seasonal needs. Forced ventilation, along with other mechanical fittings and ducts, is housed within a designated area.
The workspaces at each floor level open to cantilevered terraces where seasonal plants and vegetables are grown. Workers are encouraged to take part in the gardening process to some extent. Overall, the design blends nature with the industrial setting and creates a comfortable and livable work environment.
